We would like to invite all children to take part in an exciting artistic project!

A billboard at Stuttgarter Platz will be the venue for a special exhibition dedicated to the themes of home and homeland. Following the fascinating work of Björn Braun, who provided birds with artificial building materials to build their nests, we would like to encourage children to think about their personal idea of a home or their home.

We imagine that the participants will either create drawings or models of their house of the future or their dream home. There are no limits to creativity! You can use materials like cardboard, paper, or recycled materials.

We would like to present the resulting works on our billboard at Stuttgarter Platz and thus create a diverse and colorful collage of ideas. Please send us photos of the resulting works so that we can prepare them for presentation on the billboard! The  objects can be handed in at the Haus des Papiers - Museum für Bildende Papierkunst until 02.07. or you can come to Stuttgarter Platz yourself on 03.07. at 4:30 p.m. and install the small dwellings yourself.

The original nests of Björn Braun, which you can visit in the House of Paper from 13.06.2024, served as inspiration.

Darius Ramazani is also a photographer, logically the focus, isn't it? For half a decade, he has been sponsoring the now legendary large area on the no less legendary Stuttgarter Platz (Kommune 1, history obliges) week after week. And then copywriters, illustrators, painters, typo lovers, photographers and other talented muddleheads show what they think a wall should look like for a few weeks: beautiful, garish, loud, kitschy, informative, tasteful, stylish, modern, modernist – oh, just come and see for yourself!

At Tagrid opposite at Alanos Pizza you order the mini pizza with salami, pepperoni and mushrooms and just take a seat in front of the wall. Look at what is being shown right now. And who looks at it and how. Next to you. The area has already led to the strangest things, conversations and friendships: Music was played before and political statements were completely torn down.

Yes, that's how it is, sometimes the game becomes serious. But that's why we're all here, right? We want to play and try things out, but our heart beats for the good, the beautiful and the true.
