A project week (25.02.- 01.03.2024) took place at the Evangelische Schule Berlin Mitte with the topic "Everything will be beautiful - mindful treatment of the environment and people".
The project group led by Beate Köhler with 25 children from grades 1-6 and 4 other pedagogical specialists dealt with the school's waste paper. Every week, a garbage bag of paper is produced from shredding alone. This was then used as the starting material for the new creation.
Again and again, the Evangelische Schule Berlin experiments with paper pulp and scoop frames in the production process of the pages, and each time new surprising results are created. In this way, many individual new pages were created for the Paper Future Lab, which each child could bind and design "beautifully" for themselves. The result of the project week was a beautiful community book.
